I will be perceived as weak, they will see my vulnerability, what will they say, I feel so unworthy, I feel I am not good enough, I feel unloved, I don’t deserve what I want...”

Every time you think any of the above thoughts and all the others that you are thinking about right now. Yes those ones...

“I will never forgive you for hurting me”.

So what do you do?
You set yourself up to be hurt again and again and again.

Why do you think that you keep doing the same thing?
Remember, if you keep doing the same thing, you are going to keep getting the same results, so if you don’t like what you are getting, change what you are doing. Start off by becoming aware of your thoughts. You are the sum total of your thoughts.

The vast majority of people today have a misconception of what the word “forgive-ness” means!   People say: “I’ve got nothing to forgive”, or “I don’t want to forgive them for that!”, or “I will forgive, but never forget”.   

Some think that forgiveness is a part of some Religious order.
 
Lets face it - we can’t undo what has been done - its history .   But, and a big but, when you don’t forgive - you keep yourself in prison, plain and simple. What we can do and be pro-active and powerful in the moment is begin a process of becoming detached from the pain (the incident/s).
